Hilken's Black Dream is Licenced

Our filly Hilken's Georgia's full brother is now a licenced Stallion in Germany. Both are by the lovely Hilken's Black Delight out of a Brilliant x Caid x Valentino mare.

Bundeschampionat Warendorf 2009

There were 5 gold medal winners at this years Bundeschampionship by FS Champion de Luxe! He features in our ponies breeding. SPS Belle Vue is in foal to Top Champy who is by FS Champion de Luxe and the Dam Sire of our new colt Denario is FS Champion de Luxe. Denario also has the advantage of having FS Don't Worry as his sire!

28/8/09 Germany Trip!

Had a great 3 day trip looking at Ponies! We have bought 3 more to add to our herd. One 4 year old State Premium Mare (Black Boy x Principal Boy Breeding) in foal to Top Champy (FS Champion De Luxe x Power Boy) a Westphalian rising Star, a filly foal from Hilken's Studfarm by Hilken's Black Delight and a colt to be our Stallion prospect who is by FS Don't Worry x FS Champion De Luxe. We are eagerly awaiting the first arrival who will be Belle Vue our new mare.

We were shown all the lovely ponies at Hilken's Studfarm and also visited FS Stud again. We Saw Hilken's Black Delight and Casino Royale K in their stables with Danica Duen, both lovely friendly boy's

13/8/09 DST Bvlgari got a 1st Premium at the Futurity Evaluation at Stone, Staffs with a score of 8.46. The judges comments were that he was a Promising Dressage Pony, well balanced with good expression. We think he is fab as well and are looking forward to Gari's future career with Diane his future owner!

25/5/09 This is Gary (DST Bvlgari) by Hilken's Black Delight at 2 week's seeing the lighter side of life and enjoying the sunshine! He is a stunning mover and I would love to see him go as a colt so he is for sale until he is weaned then he will be gelded and kept until he is riding.

12/5/09 Jas gave birth at 2am this morning to a beautiful, strong bay colt by Hilken's Balck Delight. It's a lovely day so it's straight out into the field this morning to explore his new world! He will be called DST Bvlgari or Gary for short!

April/09 DST Regatta is sold to a lovely home where he will hopefully be shown in hand.

11/08 DST Don't Panic was inspected and branded by Westphalia on their visit to the UK. His Dam Balfour Blodwen was inspected and admired and entered into their main studbook. It was a long 2 days for them and we were very proud of our ponies behaviour.

11/7/08 Llifon Phantom Dazzler has been confirmed in foal to Hilken's Black Delight for a May 2009 foal!

26/5/07 FS Stud Visit, Weeze, Germany.

It was lovely to be able to see the stallions in their own evironment. We were allowed in every stable with the stallions we wanted to see and even our 7 year old son got to pat FS Don't Worry and FS Champion De Luxe. I was very impressed with the stallions who were all very friendly and well behaved. I now have even more faith in the stallions that we are using. We know the temperament of our mares and it is good to know that the stallions not only have incredible performance records but are also lovely characters too! Thank you to Christiane and Jana for showing us your gorgeous boys and spending time with us.

FS Don't Worry FS Champion De Luxe

30/4/08 Jas has had a strong colt foal last night by the Section B Stallion Eyarth Rio. He was born unusually early in the evening at 8.45pm which meant we got to bed by 1.30am so thank you Jas for being so considerate! A first time Mum Jas is a real natural and is really pleased with herself. Pictures of the foal are on the "Foals 2008" page.

24/4/08 We have just booked the ferry to travel to the FS Stud in Germany to meet all their wonderful stallions at the end of May!

Westphalian is our chosen association for registering our ponies www.westfalenpferde.de . In the Autumn they will register and brand our foals and enter our mares into their studbook. They will be registered as a German Riding Pony or "Deutsches Reitpony".

22/2/08 "Still Waiting!" Thank you to everyone who has rung, emailed or sent a text enquiring about Blod's progress. We are at 350 day's tomorrow and no patter of tiny hooves yet. Ahh well, more sleepless nights! let's hope she's not going for a new world record!

The "Maternity Wing" has been added to the barn! Courtesy of my long suffering husband. Blod's due date of 13/2/08 is 1 week away and the CCTV is in place and foal alarm on the way. Poor Blod's stable rug now looks like a mini-skirt due to her ever increasing belly!

22/1/08 The slate is lifted into place and now stands proudly outside the stables!

November 2007 "Work in progress". Slate artist Non Roberts is part way through engraving a very large piece of slate for our yard. The horses were designed by Dianne Breeze. Details can be found on the "links" page.
